Since 2020 , I have completed over 75 sessions with over 40 Indigenous organizations across Ontario. There are many benefits to an in-person, relational experience that is true to Anishinaabe ways of teaching & learning.

Sessions have ranged from 4 to over 100 participants.

There is typically a minimum booking of 2 full days for sessions which is needed in order to facilitate the transformative process with your group.

Serving Indigenous Community Organizations

I offer customized, anti-colonial professional development sessions from Anishinaabe worldview and trauma-informed lens on MANY TOPIC AREAS.

If the training or session topic you are seeking has to do with humans (working with or servicing), then there is an Anishinaabe perspective on that and I would be happy to connect about what I am able to offer to support your unique goals or needs

Email me to set up a call or Zoom to learn more and see if I would be a good fit.

Common sessions have included trauma-informed training, team building, conflict resolution, lateral violence, spiritual healing, Old Knowledge sharing, etc.

Resurgence of (remembering) our ancestral knowledge is life-long for First Nations people.

DISCLOSURE:  I often hear that Indigenous organizations do not need "Indigenous Knowledge Sharing" because they are Indigenous - BUT - we all have a lifetime of learning to do in order to regain all of the Old Knowledge of our ancestors and to behave in ways that reflect our original ethics and worldview. We need constant reminders to get out of Western worldview and to avoid the capitalist and greed-based influences of this modern society because that is what keeps our communities struggling and some of our loved ones unwell.

Offered In-Person across Ontario

Also offering Cultural Awareness & Allyship Workshops for Non-Indigenous Organizations

My approach to this kind of work involves being down-to-earth, focusing on no shame or blame, and looking at a dark, colonial history as something that connects to a shift in humanity in the Western world 12,000 years ago. This impacted all humans sharing Mother Earth today and Indigenous perspectives on this often spark critical reflection.

Whether you want to call it reconciliation, cultural safety or competency, or training on how to have good relations with Indigenous people, a customized, experiential workshop for your staff is available.
